Cool Your Bones (Davies) Started off as just a lark, man…running down some highway dream. Jumping Pound/Deadman’s Flats, we were Wildcats on the 16. Through plains, into mountains, we had some fire to set free. She leaned in, said just kiss me. We hit Arcs corners doing 160. I cool my bones at Lac Des Arcs. I keep my ghost at Lac Des Arcs. At first we wondered, where we’d got to, then we saw our smoking wreck. Half in the water, twisted metal, we saw blood and broken necks. And in that moment, we stuck together, forever tied to what comes next. And in that moment, we stuck together…. I float my boat at Lac Des Arcs. I dip my toes at Lac Des Arcs. I cool my bones at Lac Des Arcs. I keep my ghost at Lac Des Arcs. Under the stars, under the volcano…the darkened rock, like islands in the Locke. We make our home, where we make our haunt—Lac Des Arcs. I float my boat at Lac Des Arcs. I dip my toes at Lac Des Arcs. I cool my bones at Lac Des Arcs. I keep my ghost at Lac Des Arcs.

TOBOR 01:43
TOBOR (Rudd) I’m not like you I’m robotic My feelings are Nonexistent I’m not like you I’m robotic My feelings are Nonexistent Push me wake me up Turn me on and off Push me wake me up I’ll do what you want I’m not like you I’m robotic My feelings are Nonexistent I’m not like you I’m robotic I cannot Help myself Push me wake me up Turn me on and off Push me wake me up I’ll do what you want I’ll do what you want I’ll do what you want I’ll do what you want I’ll do what you want

Tape is Rolling (Davies) Hide tonight, the road is bright. We chase the moon across the dunes….Tape is rolling. Flight is in the mind, it gets easier over time. Ask a stranger for a favour….Tape is rolling. Middle age, it’s the garden stage. I love you, you’re still the same….Tape is rolling. Celluloid, prepare for the void. When I leave here I won’t disappear….Tape is rolling.

Take me to Your Island (Davies) Take me to your island, make up the bed of salt and rose. Take me to your island, draw from the well of chaff and gold. Let’s do it like a diplomat—high class, hard cash, like a Kennedy at Camelot. Let’s do it like trailer trash—hard luck, hard up. Where’s there’s muck you’ll find brass. Take me to your island, a place for us, just for us. Take me to your island, full of silence, sudden and strange. Let’s do it like a diplomat—high class, hard cash, like a Kennedy at Camelot. Let’s do it like trailer trash—hard luck, hard up. Where’s there’s muck you’ll find brass. Take me to your island, where the stars light up the night. Take me to your island, like a ring on the finger of a ray. Let’s do it like a diplomat—high class, hard cash, like a Kennedy at Camelot. Let’s do it like trailer trash—hard luck, hard up. Where’s there’s muck you’ll find brass.

City Tonight 02:51
City Tonight (Rudd) There’s no lights in the city tonight There’s no hiding the black and white All for one no wrong no right You can’t judge without your sight It’s been a long time coming Now it’s time to change your mind Put it together You’ll be surprised at what you find I drive these streets trying to find myself I stop my car and I ask for HELP A BIG BLANK stare is all I get Will this be the day that I regret? It’s been a long time coming Now it’s time to change your mind Put it together You’ll be surprised at what you find Don’t just sit there Put your fist in what is right Stand up sit down Let me see you fight Let me see you fight Let me see you fight

Shipwreck of The Utile (Davies) On a sandy island in the Indian Ocean, the year 1761…the days were bright and the nights were black, our good ship, she ran afoul. Shipwreck of the Utile. 200 odd souls alive, the rest to the sea. Captain, crew, and Malagasy slaves. Only eight would wade into the waves and be saved. On the salty, bloody reef, slave men gathered wood from the mouth of decay…Ship Shape. As her bow caught the break, and her sail of feathers flew, only free men would…Escape. Shipwreck of the Utile. 200 odd souls alive, the rest to the sea. Captain, crew, and Malagasy slaves. Only eight would wade into the waves and be saved. In stone rooms with no roofs, there was a child born. His name was Moise…his Mother’s name was Eve. And after 15 years, the beach wood still burned, and the anchor still stood…in the surf.

Paper Tiger 04:42
Paper Tiger (Davies) Paper Tiger— You’re ready and you’re rough Paper Tiger— Anger on your tongue Paper Tiger— A little street tough Paper Tiger— Playing dangerous I went down to the river, it was filled with trout. I lit up a fire, I drift the east-slopes, king of the cutthroats. Paper Tiger— Turn your bones to dust Paper Tiger— Laces undone Paper Tiger— Ineffectual Paper Tiger— A broken blunderbuss Rolling down that gravel road, kicking up dust. Jackpines, cutlines, hills of stone when you wake up facing west. Water washes over my body like blood. Grass grows over my soul. That washboard road rattles my bones. I rose up in those rocky stones. Paper Tiger— You’re ready and you’re rough Paper Tiger— Anger on your tongue Paper Tiger— A little street tough Paper Tiger— Playing dangerous

Cady Jane 04:04
Cady Jane (Davies) Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. It sounds like mine Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. You are alive. Through jigs and reels and high water years…we stayed afloat, we burned through gears. We’re thick as thieves, now that you’re here, with wind at sail the coastline is clear. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. It sounds like mine Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. You are alive. Come to us, we’ll feast on dreams. We’ll build a home, burst the seams. We’ll spare the rod, we’ll plant up seeds. Bells and whistles will meet all our needs. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. It sounds like mine Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. You are alive. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Beat your heart, and breath your lungs. You grew hands and feet and blood and bones, with hair the colour of your Mother’s—the Queen of Pine and Willow. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. It sounds like mine Heartbeat. Heartbeat. Heartbeat. You are alive. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J. Cady J.

Drive Slow 03:14
Drive Slow (Rudd) Strapped to the highway on my Suicide machine The snow won’t hold me now I will not die today All I see is the white light I hold on to let go I’m not scared I’m not scared no more So what you’re saying to me Please drive slow So everybody can let go Drive Through Light Drive Spinning the wheels of life Many many miles Gasoline fills the air This cage won’t hold me now Trapped inside from the world outside Hold me hold me down I cry as they pass me by But I do not make a sound So what you’re saying to me Please drive slow And everybody can let go Drive Through Light Drive So what you’re saying to me Please drive slow And everybody can let go

Young/Blood 03:18
Young/Blood (Davies/Anderson) Think young, slip away, beat a drum, it will keep you young. Think young, the great escape, hop a train, it will keep you young. You speak a strange language, foreign to me. Your hands see me, your eyes move me. You are a thief. Think young, slip away, beat a drum, it will keep you young. Think young, the great escape, hop a train, it will keep you young. Take some time to learn a trade…spin a yarn, crack a safe. Rise in the morning, you’re on the run. You disappear into the sun. You disappear.
